The schedule below is from 2019. Stay tuned for 2020 updates!
8 am
  • Kids (12 & under) Fishing Derby: Trophies for largest fish, smallest fish, and oddest fish, plus other prizes. At the Madeira Park Government Dock - 12967 Madeira Park Rd.
  • Fun Run: FREE. Registration is at 7:30 with the run starting at 8:00. Race starts in front of the Royal LePage office at 12874 Madeira Park Rd.
  • Lions’ Pancake Breakfast: Pender Harbour Community Hall (until 11 am), 12905 Madeira Park Rd.

11 am
  • May Day Parade along Madeira Park Road from Lillies Lake Rd. to the Madeira Park Elementary School. (Note: parking is limited so get there early!)
  • Participants: please muster at the Legion by 10:00 am 
    Parade entry forms are at HARBOUR INSURANCE. Enter until May 15 - ~Floats/car/group: $20 
    ~Individual/horse: $5
    ~Kids under 12: free

11:30 am
  • Crowning of the May Queen on the stage on the Madeira Park Elementary School Field

12 - 4 pm
Activities on the Madeira Park Elementary School field, include:
  • May Pole Dance
  • Petting zoo & pony rides
  • Live music from Poppa Gregg and the Chillin’ Dylans
  • Field events & children’s games: silent auction, bouncy castle, obstacle course, races, face painting, human foosball, kids’ games, longboard hockey tournaments, dunk tank
  • 50/50 tickets on sale, draw at 4 p.m.
  • Vendors: Crafts, food and more

​5:30 - 7 pm
  • Kid’s dance at Pender Harbour Community Hall, 12905 Madeira Park Rd.
