We are now less than $40,000 away from kicking off the Hall renovations!
The Government of Canada thru their Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program (GICB) has approved funding that will cover up to 80% of the costs to renovate and upgrade our beloved Hall.
As part of the GICB application, we needed to include crucial upgrades to qualify for the funding. So while it may still be known as the "Raise the Roof" campaign, it is so much more! See the project page for the updated project scope.
The project is now estimated at $665,000. With the federal government contributing up to $532,000, we need to raise $133,000 (20% of the estimated project cost) to have the project fully funded for work to commence.
With the donations received to date and the Community Club Society contribution of $70,000 towards the project we are less than $40,000 away from meeting our budget!
We have several ways to donate down below, but also check out our upcoming Fall event: Homecoming: A Raise the Roof Gala in which all proceeds also go to this project.
